Abstract:
New results on the recently introduced signal processing methods based on matching pursuit and modified nonlinear chirplet approx-imation are presented. The adaptive estimation algorithm for time of arrival of MSK radio signals of packet radio in area distributed receiving points of range difference position location system is developed using new methods.
Сomparative analysis between the developed algorithm and traditional schemes based on computer simulation is fulfilled. The results indicate that these methods are highly efficient for the coordinate-informative parameters of signals estimation. It is shown that de-veloped algorithms have better accuracy characteristics and capacity as compared with the traditional schemes at low signal to noise ratios. Introduced signal processing methods based on matching pursuit and modified nonlinear chirplet approximation are very applicable for emitters position location estimation.
