Algorithm for estimating of spatial coordinates of sources of radio emission in the passive single point positioning system

Abstract:
The paper presents an algorithm for estimating the spatial coordinates of emitters in a single point passive positioning system, which receiving station is located on the mobile carrier - an unmanned aerial vehicle. It is proved that the algorithm can be applied to estimate the coordinates of the mobile and stationary sources of radio emitters of multifunction electronic systems that emit signals at regular intervals. Coordinate informative metrics available for measuring the are time of the signals arrival to the receiving point, the azimuth and the elevation. The efficiency of the algorithm is confirmed by the results of the simulation.
