Abstract:

An important reserve for improving the quality of functioning of a multi-position radio engineering system is the management of the topology of its measurements. The rational choice of a sequence of such topologies from a given set of possible topologies for the appropriate observation interval makes it possible to identify additional reserves for improving the efficiency of radio engineering measurements. The solution of the problem is based on the methods of the theory of control of observations. Based on these methods, a synthesis of a measurement topology optimization procedure has been carried out, ensuring optimal use of its structural properties. The application of the developed procedure makes it possible to determine, in the sense of the criterion of the minimum of the weighted sum of variances of estimates of the elements of the vector of states of the object of observation, the variation of the radiating functions of the transceiver points of a total-difference-rangefinder multiposition radio engineering system or a rational sequence of variations in the topologies of its measurements. Optimization of control of the measurement topology over the observation interval provides significant improvements in the terminal accuracy of determining the elements of the vector of the state of the object of observation, which is important for classes of tasks related to both the subsequent extrapolation of its trajectory and its transfer to third-party measurement systems.
