Abstract:

The problem of designing GNSS receivers jam compensators is especially actual. Developing an engineering methodology for designing RF modules for GNSS receivers, taking into account its operation in external jamming conditions, is a main purpose of this work. The main requirements for the characteristics of the RF path elements during their selection are formulated and substantiated by calculation. A generalized functional diagram of the RF path of the GNSS receiver jam compensator is proposed, taking into account the combination of the characteristics of the available component base with the specific features of operation within the device under consideration. As a result, an effective engineering design methodology was developed. This methodology has been used during the design of the "Scorlupa" GNSS receiver jam compensator created at the National Research University “MPEI”.
