The accuracy of the navigation field of any global space navigation system depends significantly on the accuracy of the ephemeris-time support. Since the creation of the GLONASS system, technologies and methods of ephemeris-time support have changed significantly.
A technology has been developed for integrating ground segment measurements with VLBI measurements. Models of fundamental parameters, geodetic data, measurements, and the movement of navigation spacecraft are improved. The need for implementing current versions and maintaining the PZ-90, regularly calibrating ground segment measuring instruments, co-location of VLBI with other techniques, and developing a network of ground stations is demonstrated. Proposals for improving the structure of navigation message and the data calculation technologies for their generation are developed. The development of ephemeris-timing technologies allows for achieving a competitive level of the GLONASS system.
