Abstract:

The formation of coherent interference is a method of suppressing active radars using a monopulse method of measuring angular coordinates, based on the creation of false angles of direction finding of the target. With the help of coherent interference, it is possible to disorient monopulse radars by angular coordinates. Monopulse direction finding is used exclusively in radar weapon control systems due to the provision of high-precision determination of angular coordinates with high noise immunity at the same time. The setting of coherent interference increases the self-defense capabilities of aircraft from missiles with active radar guidance.
