Abstract:
For the experimental determination of the static errors of the ADC should find it a conversion function. Classical methods of measurement biases are applied to the input of the ADC test signal with high accuracy, adjustable over a wide range of small increments, and measuring the thresholds of quantization (the levels at which the change occurs adjacent codes). Methods for measuring the thresholds of quantization, systematic and random errors of the ADC at low and high levels of noise. The analysis of the accuracy of quantization thresholds and the systematic error quantile method and the experimental determination of the distribution function of random error. The method of random error of measurement, based on the experimental determination of the scope and accuracy of the analysis. The requirements for the accuracy of test signals and the required number of changes at each point, depending on the margin of error of measurement.
