Abstract:

An overview of the regularities associated with the Pareto principle – the "80/20 Law" is given. The recursiveness of the Pareto scheme is shown. The random process leading to the Pareto distribution and the relationship between the "80/20 law" and the normal distribution are considered. It is suggested that the Levi–Pareto distribution, generalizing the traditional Pareto distribution, will be used in the future as a quality tool.
