Problem statement. The practical and theoretical results obtained in the framework of research on the justification and development of the theory of the «third decision scheme» [1-9] established the unique properties of the determinism of auto- and cross-correlation functions for double derived nonlinear recurrent sequences that can be used to improve the efficiency of processes for receiving and processing broadband signals. Further studies on the application of the results obtained at the first and second levels of the OSI-model to solve the problem of search, capture and synchronization showed that discrete partial auto- and cross-correlation functions at the stage after entering into synchronism have a number of unique properties of determinism. These properties can be successfully used both to increase the stability of synchronization and to accelerate the acquisition of synchronism at both the first and second levels of the OSI-model.
Goal. Consider general provisions regarding the establishment of the properties of determinism of particular autocorrelation functions, their classification and practical application
Results. The results of the development of the foundations for modeling the properties and characteristics of the determinism of particular autocorrelation functions (PACF) of double derived nonlinear recurrent sequences (DDNRS) of various types, groups and types are presented, the established basic parameters of the determinism of the PACF are analyzed, and directions for using the properties and characteristics of the PACF to improve the efficiency of search processes are considered, capture, synchronization of broadband signals in the form of phase-shift keyed or discrete (binary) DDNRS within the framework of the theory of the «third decision scheme».
Practical relevance. The obtained theoretical provisions for modeling the properties and characteristics of the determinism of the PACF will allow them to be used in the construction of promising packet radio networks.
