Random current flow through the rough surface

Abstract:
The paper deals with the flow of random (thermal) current through a rough surface, characterized by fractal properties. A description of the fractal properties of the surface is produced by the model of the Cantor set. Using the expression for the impedance of such a surface, the generalized Ohm-s law in the form of an integral operator is found. For the case of thermal fluctuations of the current through the surface is the power spectral density of voltage fluctuations on it is defined. It is shown that the spectral density is related to one type of the color noises.
