Emerging information society places new demands on the performance of organizations and approaches to design. The progress of information technology has led to a decrease in the effectiveness of formal closed structures, and, thanks to the increasing openness, a convergence of consumer organizations with a further increase in efficiency of accounting changes of customer requirements. Many organizations use organizational structures which were previously little-used or were deemed to be insufficient, but have been widely recognized in the changing operating conditions. Modern approaches to organizational design are: - Creation of horizontal corporations - The development of networks - The emergence of virtual organizations. Experience has shown that the main advantages of the organizational structures of horizontal type increase the company's flexibility, maximize adaptation to changing market conditions, reduce wasteful expenditure and mobilize resources of the company.
