Currently, the theory and technology of situational control, founded by D.A. Pospelov, continue to be actively developed. This work represents a new stage in the evolution of the situational control method. The distinctive feature of the proposed hybrid approach is that it connects, at the conceptual-functional and software levels, the situational control system as the core architecture of an intelligent control system (ICS) with the architectures of tutoring integrated expert systems (IES) and web-IES (hereinafter IES/web-IES). These systems are developed based on the author's problem-oriented methodology and the intelligent software environment tools of the AT-TECHNOLOGY workbench.
The aim of this work is to analyze the application experience and further development of the situational control method, based on the classification of situations, in the context of automated control of intelligent tutoring processes using tutoring IES/web-IES. This is achieved by developing an adaptive ontological software environment in the form of an ICS, which provides management and monitoring of the functioning processes of tutoring IES/web-IES, considered as an intelligent control object.
The material in this article allows tracing the evolution of approaches to implementing the general scheme for solving control problems, as described by D.A. Pospelov, and demonstrates the universality of its application for an intelligent control object in the form of a tutoring IES/web-IES. A brief description of the basic concepts of the situational control method has been given, and examples of its implementation in relation to various architectures of modern intelligent systems have been provided. The main part of the article describes the principles for constructing the basic components of the ICS using the developed hybrid approach. This approach is based on the integration of the method for situational control of complex systems of a software-organizational type with the methods and technologies of tutoring IES/web-IES and ontological engineering. The results of an experimental study of a prototype version of the ICS under real educational process conditions have been presented.
