Frames knowledge representation model of innovative projects assessment methodologies

Abstract:

An industrial enterprise that carries out innovative and investment activities is considered. Many innovative projects at the enterprise are considered with the purpose to be chosen for implementation at some point. The possibility of automating the evaluation of data of innovative projects using knowledge presentation methods is considered. It is proposed to use the frame representation of knowledge to describe the methods of evaluating innovative projects. The analysis of existing description languages of the knowledge representation based on frames is carried out. A language for describing frame structures based on FRL is selected and refined. The description of the parsing implementation and the algorithm of logical inference using the UML language is given. A demo example of logical inference through a network of frames is given with an emphasis on the calculation of the innovative project’s risks.
