Abstract:
The article examines the methods of the traffic control in a multiservice network. The features of the bandwidth allocation of dedicated communication channel for organizing access to telematics services are described. The traffic management methods based on its classification are suggested in the article. The methods of bandwidth management with separation of logical channels representing the different types of traffic are described. The method of optimizing the using of the network bandwidth uses the utility theory for dedicated logical channels.
