3D-scenes enhancement based upon adaptive construction of disparity maps using RBF-networks

Abstract:
This paper describes a method for dense disparity maps generation using window of dense correlation, which size was adaptively chosen basing upon approximate disparity values. Approximate disparity values were obtained by inscribing RBF-surfaces into clusters of reference points of the image. Method was tested on the variety of real stereoscopic pairs and yields significant increase in quality of resulting disparity maps.
