Abstract:

The article is devoted to a relatively new direction – flexible electronics, the emergence of which is due to the ubiquity of curved surfaces.

The purpose of the work is to consider the most important areas of development of flexible electronics and the most advanced technologies for the production of flexible devices that are already in use or will be used in the near future.

The development of a large number of completely new and well–known devices with new capabilities based on modern technologies makes it possible to produce flexible, stretchable, foldable, shape–changing lightweight devices.

This provides solutions to problems that were previously impossible.

Consideration of flexible electronics devices allows us to take a fresh look at the practical use of such devices, which dramatically expands the possibilities of application and development of new flexible devices.

The latest achievements create the basis for large–scale industrial automated production of various flexible electronics devices.

The development and use of flexible electronics technologies provide significant progress in the development of nanoelectronics.
