Abstract:
The investigation of superconducting receiver in terahertz frequency range of 0,7-1,1 THz has been performed. To determine the electrical parameters of the structure we compared the experimentally measured characteristics of the receiver with the numerical simulation results of a superconducting receiving element (superconductor-insulator-superconductor (SIS) transition NbTiN-Nb-AlN-NbN). Measurements were made for four the receiving element versions, a method of complete 3d modeling superconducting structures to determine the specific capacity for the using SIS junctions (Csp = 80 fF/mkm2).
