Abstract:
Dense and porous anti-reflection coatings based on fractal and spherical silica nanoparticles, respectively, were fabricated on silica glass by dip-coating process. The dense coating increases silica glass transmission by 2,5 - 3,5 % at selected wavelength and the substrate bending strength by 25 %. The porous coating increases silica glass transmission by 6,0-7,0 % at selected wavelength.
