Abstract:
A technique of nanoparticles of bioflavonoids rutin, quercetin and silymarine obtaining was worked out. The suspensions of the nanoparticles possessed high aggregate stability. The microscopical structure of the particles obtained was studied. It was found out that the average size of the particles obtained was not more than 110 nm. The data obtained by X-ray analyses showed that the method enables stable nanoparticles with short size range and that the particles were nanocrystalls (they had crystalline structure and nano-scaled size). The main advantages of nanocrystalls are high content of active substance and large contact surface of active substance with biological media. Nanocrystalls easily pass off the intestinal and vessel walls therefore they can be easily delivered to the target organs and make therapeutic concentrations of active substances there. An in vivo research of antihepatoxic activity of the nanoforms of bioflavonoids on a model of mice acute toxic hepatitis was conducted. It was determined that intravenous and oral intake of the nanoforms of bioflavonoids comparing to oral intake of native substances favors more markable regeneration of liver structure and facilitates more expressed reduction of biochemical markers of hepatitis levels (AST, ALT, AP and total bilirubin) in blood serum than native substances do.
