Abstract:

A widely used method today is analyzing the frequency properties of complex automatic control systems based on two-dimensional graphs of their amplitude-phase-frequency characteristics. However, three-dimensional models, given the same initial data, provide more information than two-dimensional models.

Aim of article is to demonstrate the possibility of increasing the information content of the study of frequency properties of dynamic links of automatic control systems by applying the frequency surface method.

A method for estimating the frequency properties of two-dimensional links and control systems is proposed based on constructing frequency surfaces for these objects. Five examples of constructing frequency surfaces for one class of two-dimensional systems with direct cross-couplings are considered.
