Abstract:

The model and methodology for individual forecasting of the residual resource of the functioning of information and control systems according to economic criteria are described. The forecasting results can be used to justify decisions on extending the assigned resource and service life of information management systems, as well as in determining their need for modernization and the timing of its implementation. Forecasting the residual resource of information and control systems allows operation management bodies to effectively plan costs for maintenance, repair and modernization of systems. Based on the forecast, it is possible to determine the necessary resources and distribute them between systems with priority to those that have a resource close to unacceptable values. This allows you to reduce unexpected operating costs and prevent a drop in the efficiency and reliability of information management systems.
