Abstract:

To implement methods of protecting critical objects from medium- and long-range guided missiles with combined guidance systems a methodology has been developed for calculating permissible misses, which ensure the protection of typical critically important stationary ground objects, taking into account their vulnerability and design features.

Calculations were performed for 3 types of cruise missiles with high-explosive fragmentation warhead: AGM-86C Block 1A, AGM-158C, BGM-109C,-D Block III, and 4 types of cruise missiles with penetrating warhead: Storm Shadow, KEPD 350 Taurus, Apache, AGM-130E. The objectivity of the results obtained is confirmed by the use of probabilistic and statistical calculation methods.

The values of the misses of medium- and long-range guided missiles with high-explosive and penetrating warheads required to substantiate the requirements for the elements of information support, control and jamming subsystems of the protection of stationary ground objects have been established.
