The article is devoted to the analysis of approaches to choosing a supplier in conditions of uncertainty and incomplete information. The main goal in this case is to determine an effective solution in the case of heterogeneity of the decision maker’s views on the set of alternatives under consideration. Fuzzy TOPSIS methods are used to select a supplier under conditions of uncertainty.
The approach proposed in the article allows you to select a supplier in conditions of uncertainty and incomplete information, and can also be adapted to the case of several decision makers with varying degrees of confidence in the sources of information on the proposed alternatives. The proposed approach is a crisis management tool to ensure effective selection of suppliers in conditions of uncertainty.
