Abstract:
Nowadays information analysis departments (IAD) are created in several large companies. They constitute independent structural departments of the company. Exclusive competence of the IAD is the implementation of analytical activities for further consulting company's employees and customers.
The key point of the IAD activity is to work with the information on the main areas of the company-s and its clients - activity. First of all it is information gathering from different sources (like Internet, Media, internal inquiries results, statistical, financial and other accounting about the company-s activity, activity of its clients and units). Secondly it is the accumulation of this information in the form of databases. Thirdly it is the processing of the information (preparation of the reports, reviews, accounts and so on). And fourthly it is the information presentation.
For the effective solution of IAD tasks we need to create a united working software environment which allows the company-s employees to work together with big amounts of information from different sources, to use different kinds of automatic search and information processing services, to develop visual representation of the results and besides to automate the access of all the employees to all the databases in the company.
Within the framework of this approach we suppose to use thematic information analysis portal (TIAP) as the main technological component of such united working software environment. Such portal should be created for every direction of the company-s activity. One of the main advantages of the information portal is its modular structure which allows to merge different kinds of services within the same software environment, TIAP. In the capacity of such services intellectual agents can be used, that will allow to automate the information exchange in TIAP network for information analysis tasks solution.
This article contains the description of a possible variation of the organization of the automatic solution of information analysis tasks in TIAP network. After that we make a conclusion that the management of such TIAP for every direction of the company-s activity in all its departments will allow to collect, accumulate, analyze, assess and generalize the information about the market dynamics and its state and the company-s experience. After the formation of such TIAP network IAD of the company will be able to use all the information which is contained in the whole network to solve their tasks of business processes analysis, preparation of the proposals about business processes optimization, analytical, informational, reference and other materials of the company-s activity
