Abstract:

In order to provide intensive information volume at limitations on frequency bands and power of radiated signals in radio relay communication systems, mirror parabolic-reflector antennas with high spatial-frequency selectivity of transmission-reception are used. The directional patterns and directional coefficients of the mirror antennas, which determine the energy effective moments of the radio channels, largely depend on the range and directional properties of the irradiators. The most effective amplification of signals during transmission-reception is achieved at constant angular positions of the main beams of partial antenna patterns in the band of working cyclic frequencies. In the interests of fulfilling this requirement, frequency-independent dipole, printed monopole, log-periodic and slot antennas, range spiral, strip, waveguide-slot and waveguide-horn antennas, as well as resonant antennas of the Uda-Yagi vibrator type and the "wave channel" are used. The design parameters of the transceiver structures are set based on the condition of achieving potential energy efficiency of the radio channel, which by the value of the transmission-reception moment in the absence of fading of signal amplitudes on the propagation path are characterized. Study of the energy efficiency of signal transmission and reception in radio links with mirror parabolic-reflector antennas. Using spectral energy equation of direct radio channel and partial characteristics of transmission-reception of non-harmonic wave processes, analysis of energy effective moments of radio channels with mirror parabolic-reflector antennas containing frequency-independent, range and resonance irradiators was carried out. Patterns of changes in the energy efficiency of transmitting and receiving signals with different types of antenna irradiators have been identified. Estimates of the pulse rate of the sequence formed by amplitude modulation with passive pause at a fixed average radiation power are obtained. Analytical representation of energy effective moment of radio channel establishes correlation of energy of propagating signals with their parameters and characteristics of space-frequency selectivity of transmitting and receiving devices. It can be used to justify requirements for directional properties and proposals for the design of mirror antenna irradiators, which provide efficient information exchange over radio channels of a line-of-sight system with limitations on signal bandwidth and average power of transmitters.
