Abstract:

Rapid development and active widespread use of unmanned aerial systems for strike, reconnaissance, transport and other purposes against military and civilian infrastructure facilities determines the primary role of scientific development in the aspect of detection, control and counteraction to such systems. Some models of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have a high level of jamming and reconnaissance immunity, which poses the task for research units of the defense industry to develop new methods, techniques, technical solutions and means of detection, control and influence on UAVs. The article considers an approach to increasing the effectiveness of countering UAVs by retransmitting interference by a spatially distributed active phased antenna array. The possibility of jamming the UAV flight route by interfering with electromagnetic fields while compensating for radio wave delays in a given area using an active phased antenna array based on the integration of differential-range coordinate measurement systems with jamming systems for onboard and ground-based UAV communications is considered. One of the important aspects of the approach implementation at the technical level is the antenna-transmitting path of the active phased antenna array, implementing the idea of creating an interference electromagnetic field based on a differential-range measuring system. The results of the study showed that the considered approach to the formation of the required interference pattern of the electromagnetic field due to digital diagram formation in the radio engineering system built according to the topology of the differential-range measuring system of coordinate measurement will ensure an increase in the electromagnetic availability of the object of electronic suppression for electronic warfare means.
