Abstract:

This article is devoted to a subject of software development for small enterprise. The purpose of this publication is the attempt of creation of a specialized, narrowly targeted system for the libraries working with the visually impaired or completely lost sight people. During the conversation with the manual of library basic functions which need to be implemented in a system, such as were selected: check by the system of changes of base of data of IRBIS64 system, a possibility of work of the reader with a system, administration of a system by library workers, collecting statistics and creation of the reporting for an output to printing in the corresponding form. On a solution of department of development, for creation of a system and its subsequent maintenance in libraries, the following development tools of the software were selected: С#, SQL programming languages and tool for the client applications Windows Forms. All above-mentioned means can be used in a development environment of Microsoft Visual Studio. In addition to the main objectives it is necessary to transfer data from the database of IRBIS64 system to the database of the developed system. The functions of the syntax analyzer which are reading out and cleaning formats of commands of irbis formatting language were for this purpose written. For automation of some actions, such, as: the reader's input in a system, reading of a barcode of the book was described a scanner operation algorithm. Use of the scanner, with expansion of its functionality, way adding of the tag allowing to define department in which there is a reader is also offered. Collecting statistics is carried out by record in the database of dates of registration of visits, issue of books and special markers in fields of the corresponding tables.

Result of these researches and practices is creation of separate modules which in total create the independent system satisfying to all requirements, put by the manual of the enterprise. The field of use of this system is any library. working with the people having problems with sight. A problem of specialized libraries is use of enterprise systems, such as IRBIS64 which include huge functionality, mostly useless for small enterprise. This system provides only necessary, narrowly targeted functionality for work of the enterprise with visually impaired people. What will help to save a large number of money on support and updating of a system, by failure from inconvenient enterprise systems. The developed system which will be integrated into work of library by it Ostrovsky of Kaluga for testing of its working capacity in actual practice is result of this article.
