The study of the nature of the distribution of channels of destruction of paper media obtained as a result of an electric breakdown. For the first time, a theoretically justified assumption of the presence of interference phenomenon was confirmed in the analysis of experimental data carried out with the help of an automated information system. The study allows to conclude about the interference nature of the application of perforations on the target at the electrical breakdown of the interelectrode interval «air-paper».
