Abstract:
Various interfaces are used for switching and interworking between the individual elements of the operator\'s console of active radar. The greatest application is currently found the following interfaces: the main serial, RS-232 and Ethernet.
To verify the functionality of the interface modules, the manufacturer supplies the appropriate software. However, this software has a number of drawbacks, such as: the inability to check the data transfer speed, the inability to track the integrity of transmitted infor-mation, the verification of only one module, respectively, of the interface at a time.
In this paper, the authors describe development of an algorithm of functioning of the software and mathematical complex (SMC) for verification the interfaces of the operator\'s console of active radar allows to verify three different interfaces at a time. Realization of a one-time verification of the three interfaces involves the separation of SMC on three software modules, each of which provides verifi-cation of the appropriate interface: module for verifying the main serial interface, module for verifying the RS-232 interface and module for verifying the Ethernet interface.
The development of the functioning algorithm of the SMC is carried out using the example of a software module for verifying the main serial interface. Operation algorithm of software module can be dividing into two parts: initialization algorithm and algorithm for transmitting and verifying the transmitted data.
The possibility of implementing the developed operation algorithm of the software module for verifying the main serial interface has been verified with the help of the Petri net simulator. The analysis showed that the developed algorithm is realizable.
