Ultra-wideband omnidirectional multi-polarization antenna

Abstract:
The problems of centimeter and decimeter waveband ultra-wideband omnidirectional multi-polarization antenna design are under consideration. The article has prologue, analytic part and research part. The first part regards the practical importance of a mono-channel device synthesis problem, associated with a simultaneous orthogonal polarized electromagnetic waves reception. The authors analyze multi-polarization reception demands at second part. The simultaneous amplitude-isotropic and polarization-isotropic antenna synthesis impossibility in principle is noted. The oblique polarization or circular polarization antennas are offered in the capacity of compromise. Authors give preference to oblique polarization. An omnidirectional antenna types and it-s based a practical constructions are considered. A biconical aperture with an uniaxial coaxial feed are justified. There are been analyzed the part of biconical multi-polarization emitters and the part of engineering solutions, based at aperture-placed polarizing structure. An examined construction technical complexity growth proportionally to a wideband and reception stability demands growth is noted. At the third part a biconical aperture based construction with a polarization filter is been synthesized and it-s prototyping results are placed. A synthesized radiator energy efficiency is demonstrated. The solid radiator waveband wide is about 90%.
