Abstract:
Considered an approximation of the analytical solution of the Sommerfeld problem with the use of the Cauchy theorem. The resulting algorithm is simply the numerical solution of this problem with the elimination of the instability of the solution of the integral equation of the first kind. The calculation results obtained by the algorithms are compared with numerical and experimental data available in the literature.
