Abstract:
New relations differing from the known numerical results for possible analytical characteristic analysis of micro-Doppler echo-signal spectrum of small and large-sized propeller aircrafts are obtained. For small-sized aircrafts the low effect of phase modulation on spectral characteristics of their echo-signal is theoretically proved. Amplitude modulation causes for three components in the spectrum of the received echo-signal small-sized propeller aircraft at receiving by horizontally and vertically polarized antennas. The simulation showed the ability to recognize the class of the aircraft by comparing the normalized levels of the echo signals received on the vertical and horizontal polarizations.
