Abstract:
Streams of heavy charged particles threaten to space ships. Heavy charged particles with the energy of more than 50 MeV/nuclon can destroy electronic components of space apparatuses (board equipment). Heavy charged particles with energies of more than 2,5 MeV/nuclon are investigated rather well. Streams with lower energies were estimated by means of extrapolation. Board equipment of space ships «GLONASS» has given statistic data for measurements of heavy charged particles streams with energies of more than 125 MeV/nuclon for 10 years. The quantity of particles with low energies has turned out 4 times less than it was supposed earlier. This result allows correcting the existed instructions.
