Abstract:
In spite of great size of near-Earth space cosmic flights are accompanied by the danger of collision with objects of space debris caused by anthropogenic activities of mankind. Objects of space debris are spacecrafts that have stopped their activity or have break down, different types of details, fragments, elements of spacecrafts or carrier rockets which stay on the orbit after launching of a spacecraft. By now objects of space debris have «settled» a lot on the areas of working orbits - the places where spacecrafts fly and work. Moving on these orbits in different directions with space velocity these objects make real danger of their collision with active spacecrafts and orbital stations. The necessity of operate control of space debris and of events connected with them is understood by all leading countries of the world. In many space powers there are special national programs connected with this problem. To solve the above-stated problems the new optical-electronic complex created by JSC «NPK» «SPP» is introduced. It was made by the order of Russian Space Agency and is aimed to work in the structure of automatized system of warning of dangerous approaches in near-Earth space. The complex contains three types of telescopes of different functions, which can find elements of space debris with the size of 15 cm and more which stay on different near-Earth orbits. At present on the territory of Altay optical-laser center the tests of the complex are completed.
