Abstract:
Satellite laser ranging, as one of measuring techniques of space geodesy and navigation, enters a new stage of development. In the present article new applications of this technology in a problem of creation of global geodetic observing system (GGOS) and in problems of increase of accuracy of the GLONASS navigation system are considered. The description of a new method of a one-way laser ranging and results of its testing in conditions of space flight is given. It is shown that application of this method allows to solve a problem of accurate comparisons of onboard and ground time scales and to increase the accuracy of geodetic and ephemeris-time support of GLONASS. The concept of creation of station of a satellite laser ranging of new generation is considered.
