Abstract:
This paper described the electrodynamic properties of smooth matching transitions between rectangular waveguides and waveguide complex cross section (rectangular waveguide T edge, P waveguide). We used the finite element method and graphic-analytical method. The basic advantages and disadvantages of different types of matching transitions are discovered. In this study we determined the best ways to increase the bandwidth matching transitions with simplicity of the design.
