Abstract:
Non-radiating unmanned aero vehicle landing system technical proposal presented. Landing system uses UAV transmitter to determine exact spatial position with correlation-phase method. Transmitter generate signal modulated telemetry information including GPS/GLONASS coordinate, 1pps data, which uses as additional positioning system. Transmitter power should be less than 1 watt for 20 kilometers range of the landing system. Direction estimation error less than 0,1 degree, range estimates with two spatially separated receivers (distance between receivers 20-40 meters) with error less than 2 meters. Additional range estimation may be achieved with 1pps signal, transmitted from UAV. Estimation errors calculated with computer modeling with statistical averaging.
