Abstract:
This article contains a principle of nonradiating bistatic radar system. As the radar signal is proposed to use public broadcasting signals, which gives a number of advantages of this system for active radar. For object recognition should take the signal reflected from the target and determine its timing, frequency and power characteristics, which contain information about the reflective characteristics of the target and its location. The system is nonradiating, for the detection and tracking using signals of existing public broadcasting reflected from the objects. Channel is used for the treatment of the direct signal and the receive channel signals reflected from targets. Handling direct signal from a narrow focus antenna is designed to receive signals directly from the transmitting station and generate values of reference signals for the correlation processing. To avoid falling into the channel of the reflected signal of the direct signal from the transmitting station to the receiving antenna of a narrow radiation pattern in the azimuth plane. Range of the system is limited to the energy characteristics of the reflected signals received, processing algorithm and a direct line of sight. The system has a lower cost of production and operation of the equipment and does not cause interference to other radio equipment by eliminating the transmission subsystem. According to the analysis, the range of the radar nonradiating system over 100 km with an equivalent for the purposes of reflective surface of 10 m2 in the use of television broadcast signals.
