Abstract:
The traffic analysis in mobile communication networks is carried out. It is shown that the traffic in a zone can be estimated by means of geographical and demographic characteristics of area of service. The traffic estimation is based on geographical model which considers factors of demand for mobile communication services. For the space description of character of the teletraffic the technique using concept of the discrete nodes of demand is entered. The nodes of demand concept favours not only better description of mobile subscribers, but also make resources distribution more simple. As the nodes of demand are distributed by expected demand, the supposed traffic in cell can be calculated in agreement with nodes of demand number in cell. The base stations potential location can be checked right to its selection based on whether it can meet the demands of traffic and hardware. So we can estimate whether selected cell configuration could sustain expected traffic. The nodes of demand conception shows demand discretization both by space and demand. As a result, nodes of demand are concentrated in areas with high traffic and sparsed in areas with low one. Relying on geographical traffic mode and using nodes of demand conception, we can make statistic model of mobile communication networks to describe mobile subscribers distribution.
