Measurement of Spectral Characteristics of Galactic Cosmic Rays by Spacecrafts Onboard Gauges

Abstract:
Over a period from 21.03.2004 to 21.04.2004 (after a series of small solar flares which had occurred from the end of February till the beginning of March, 2004) registration of galactic cosmic rays GCR had been spent by the on-board equipment of spacecraft «GLONASS-M». The results of experiment allowed computing the exponent of integrated spectrum GCR for a range of 40-300 MeV which with some calculation error is in the range from 1.5 to 1.9. The percentage of heavier charged particles for a range of 600-6000 MeV, according to calculations, is 9+5 %, percentage of gamma-quanta with energies between 100-1000 MeV registered by on-board equipment is less than one percent.
