Abstract:
In paper presents the results of experimental researches the radiation form objects at sea surface in X- and other bands. Here presents the technique of definition the effective area of scattering by using the spaced transmitter and receiver parts of radar. The obtained expressions are correlated with experimental researches in case of single-station radar, the experimental results of measurements the secondary radiowaves radiation from ships at sea surface. Shown, that with the change from X-band to L-band (3-50 cm) to reduce the value of effective area of scattering at 3-5 dB in different points of scatter diagram, the experimental results of obtained the power characteristics of ships in real conditions of observation. Shown, that-s the main part of signal energy, which scattered from ship, connect with the value, concerted with polarization of radiation. Also the average value of effective area of scattering don-t depend from linear vector orientation in space.
