Abstract:

One of the important stages of the treatment process for autism spectrum disorders (ASD) is to get rid of undesirable behavior and stop breakdowns in order to improve the progress of inclusive functioning in society. This task is frequently complicated by the high degree of heterogeneity and the complexity of identifying specific trigger factors, particularly in patients presenting with comorbid intellectual disabilities or language impairments. A scientific investigation was conducted into the sources that precipitate behavioral crises or episodes of maladaptive behavior in persons with ASD. Based on the findings, trigger factors were categorized, and specific detection modalities were identified for each category.

The aim of the study is to perform a systematic analysis of triggering factors for crisis states in individuals with ASD and to correlate these factors with potential registration methodologies.

The use of developed framework for systematizing triggers can serve as a basis for the development of personalized monitoring systems. Such systems enable the construction of individualized trigger profiles, ultimately fostering a more adaptive and supportive environment for individuals with ASD.
