For multi-step decision-making tasks by an endocrinologist, the problem of diagnosing thyroid disease syndrome can be solved by evaluating the Hurwitz criterion coefficient at each stage of diagnosis, taking into account information about the choice of solutions at previous stages. The selection of coefficients for the Hurwitz criterion in multi-step decision-making processes of an endocrinologist is carried out expertly based on statistical data on the presence of the syndrome in the patient, depending on the symptoms. The values of the coefficients act as weights of the contribution of each strategy to the performance indicator and depend on the expert's tendency to pessimism or optimism, as well as on knowledge and experience.
Goal – to develop a system for assessing thyroid disease syndrome depending on the symptom to support a doctor's decision on the diagnosis of the disease.
A homogeneous dynamic decision-making process for the diagnosis of thyroid disease syndromes is considered, at each stage of which coefficients for the Hurwitz criterion are applied. A mathematical model of the physiological state of patients with thyroid diseases has been developed. Symptoms suspected of thyrotoxicosis and hypothyroidism were reported.
