Abstract:

One of the topical directions for increasing the efficiency of examining the organs of the gastrointestinal tract of the human body is the inclusion of a separate computer decision support system in the analysis tools. The purpose of the work is to reduce the likelihood of an erroneous diagnosis, which implies the use of modern mathematical apparatus, including fuzzy logic. In this regard, an intelligent decision-making system is proposed using fuzzy logic to increase the reliability of the decision on the functional state of the gastrointestinal tract. For this purpose, a fuzzy logical processing unit is included in the diagnostic system. One of the essential points is the ability to process non-numerical (linguistic) information. The basis for rigorous mathematical processing of linguistic information is the theory of fuzzy sets.

The construction of fuzzy inference systems is based on the application of a method that includes six main stages of information transformation. The work is based on the formation of tables of symptoms and diseases associated with parasites of the gastrointestinal tract. As a result of the research, an assessment of the informational reliability of the diagnostic report was obtained using the example of data from the medical history of the patient who was being examined.

Thus, we can conclude that the proposed method is acceptable for clarifying the reliability and confidence of the diagnostic results obtained. The most likely area of application of fuzzy theory is medical diagnostics using mathematical methods characteristic of the process of human reasoning.
