Abstract:

Formulated initial-boundary value problem for calculation of fields of temperature and moisture content in a plate of wet material, which is blown by an air stream and exposed to electromagnetic waves. Numerically investigated the time evolution of the distributions of temperature and moisture content across the thickness of the plate when exposed to the wet material of electromagnetic waves with big and small pene- tration depth. Peculiarities of transient modes allow you to optimize the operation of devices that use heat or drying by electromagnetic radiation.
