Abstract:
The article presents the development of a remote system for monitoring and prognostication of incoming moments of atrial fibril-lation, information support of the patient who has suffered atrial fibrillation, informing attending medical doctor about variability of the patient heart rate. In order to synthesize the system structure, a complex of parameters of cardiovascular system functioning for exposing atrial fibrillation was formed, the necessity of heart rate evaluation, heart rate variability, variance of heart rate variability, pulse rate, power of f-waves of electrocardiogram, photoplethysmogram, accounting of dynamics of the listed parameters was shown, the algorithm for diagnostics of atrial fibrillation is proposed. The developed system has the multilayer hierarchical structure each layer of which provides solution optimality of a specific problem. The system comprises: a small-size wearable device providing record of biomedical signals and their preprocessing, a signal receiver realized on a smartphone basis which performs further signal processing and evaluation of diagnostically significant parameters, evaluation of the current patient health status; a medical center server using the cloud technology for monitoring of the patient health status, a microprocessor system of a doctor to provide telemedical support of a patient by a doctor in case of symptoms onset of atrial fibrillation. The structure of the wearable device using integrated circuits of the Analog Front End is proposed.
