The low-frequency ultrasound effect on glycosaminogly-cans (hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate)

Abstract:
The article presents the results of the experimental investigation of the low-frequency ultrasonic effect on glycosaminoglycans (hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate). Based on the spectrum analysis it was found that there were no changes in the structure of the investigated solutions. It was concluded that in the hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate under the influence of low- frequency ultrasound the chemical bonds were not broken and the composition did not change which permits later on to apply the low-frequency ultrasound jointly with hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate to create new medical technologies.
