Abstract:
The action of an aqueous solution of natural flower honey (vitamidin) has cholesterol-lowering, gipotriglitseridemia, antioxidant, immunocorrective effect, normalizes the disturbed lipoprotein hyperlipidemia spectrum and has no adverse side effects. The purpose of the research is to examine hypolipidemic effect of natural substance vitamidina (aqueous solution of natural flower honey bee) obtained by the technology comprising the crystallization of the solution, followed by thawing. Experiments were carried out on male inbred rats and rabbits with induced introduction of atherogenic (the cholesterol-rich) diet dyslipidemia (DLP). In blood serum cholesterol (CH), triglycerides (TG) and HDL cholesterol (HDL-CH). LDL-CH and atherogenic index were calculated by the known formulas by Friedewald and Klimov. Lipoproteins were separated by density gradient ultracentrifugation. Samples of liver, after preliminary extraction of lipids, CH and TG levels were determined. The lipid content was determined by the enzymatic method using a recruitment firm Randox (England). Statistical analysis was performed using the program «Statgraphics». All procedures and animal experiments were carried out in accordance with the «Rules of good laboratory practice in the Russian Federation.» (Directive of the European Parliament and the European Union №2010 / 63 / UOM). Rules approved by order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation №267 from 19.06.2003 and approved by the Ethics Committee of the Biomedical Institute of Experimental Medicine. It was found that the administration of intranasal solution of honey in a large breeding contributed to the reduction of total cholesterol in blood serum and liver by 2040%, TG - by 3060%. The study of the effect of the solution on the antioxidant system showed a reduction of hydroperoxides. Thus, in intact rats the percentage of hydroperoxides in apo B lipoproteins (PL) was 50% with dyslipidemia increased up to 98%, while after using this honey solution it decreased to 64% in separation of blood serum LP density gradient ultracentrifugation showed a significant decrease in LP intermediate density. The study of immunological parameters of blood serum showed a significant normalization of proliferative activity of lymphocytes in response to the use of mitagens in animals treated with the solution of honey and a distinct reduction in depression suppressor activity of lymphocytes in inducing its konvalyarotoksinom A. As the material under study has CH-lowering, TG-lowering, antioxidant, immunocorrective effect, normalizes the abnormal range for hyperlipidemia LP and does not cause adverse side effects, it seems to be promising as a lipid-lowering drugs.
