The EEG features of recognition of significant photic stimuli under increased emotional tone

Abstract:
The study of dynamics of spatio-temporal distribution of EEG of the human-operator was carried out. The EEG characteristics have been estimated overall both prestimulus and poststimulus epochs under recognizing the character stimulus in the state of operational (wake) and increased emotional tension.
It was shown that all the stages of recognition under emotional tension are characterized by decreased level of statistical rela-tionships between cortex regions with prevalence in the left hemisphere. It is allowed to suppose the emotional tension leads to interhemispheric discordance in dynamics of correlation of symmetrical both frontal and occipital regions in the slow delta-range. So have made alpha-waves at the initial stage of recognition.
It is possible to suggest that under influence of the emotiogenic factors a released functional system allowed to optimal running the studied sensorymotor activity is characterized by decreasing the relationships of brain systems involved to this activity.
