Solution of the problem of the opto-phonendoscope

Abstract:
The article describes the established IMASH RAS option electronic phonendoscope on the basis of fiber-optical converter (optophonendoscope), which allows to work in the extended frequency band - from 0.05 Hz to 20 kHz, significantly increasing its functionality, overlapping apex cardiography and electronic stethoscope. Specific solutions are supposed interference suppression using digital filtering. The general principle of operation (software - hardware): SIGNAL sensor is amplified and limited necessarily (amplitude, frequency restrictions, and so on.). Further, through the switch, the sensor signals fed to the DAC, which is digitized and stored in the corresponding memory area of the microcontroller. The microcontroller after a certain delay time reads the digitized sensor signal and in an audio signal generating circuit (DAC HPF) outputs it to the radiator. Having the opportunity to listen to the heart and lungs on the speakerphone, the doctor can not only objectify froze, but also to take advantage of the file base acoustic stencils, patched to the instrument as a reference. Probably, such a system can be very handy when introducing it in the process of training young doctors undergoing training.
